Online Course Development Stipend Eligibility

Departments are responsible for writing PAFs for development and per-student stipends.

To receive the $800 per credit hour stipend for a new online course not previously developed, the course must contribute to an online degree program or certificate, or increase access for students requiring a non-traditional format (including general education courses).

Development stipend funds are transferred to departmental budgets twice a year – January and June. Your department is responsible for submitting a PAF and determines when the PAF will be submitted.

Note: Deans and department heads may only receive the stipend for their departments.
