Degree Plan: MA in History Online

This is a model two-year degree plan.  Your path to graduation will vary depending on course availability, the number of hours taken per semester, and whether you take classes in the summer.  While you may enter our program during any semester, we highly recommend online students begin in the summer as our foundational course, HST 701 Historiography and the Historical Method, is offered online only in the summer.  Your plan will also vary from the one shown here depending on the program track you select and whether you write a thesis.  The following is based on the U.S. & World track, with a concentration in U.S. history.  Topics covered in seminars and proseminars will vary.
