Missouri State's 12 hour hospitality graduate certificate program includes nine hours of online instruction and one three-hour field experience course.

Learn about the legal issues pertinent to hospitality and tourism firms. Investigate skills needed to manage change in the hospitality industry such as team development and motivation. Participate in a field experience within hotels, restaurants, institutional foodservice operations, country clubs, senior living facilities, convention and visitors bureaus, tourism-related companies, stadiums, entertainment venues, cruise lines, and many others.

The Department of Hospitality Leadership participates in the Master of Professional Studies (MPS) degree. The MPS is a cross-disciplinary program which features enhancement of administrative abilities with an area of emphasis. The program is designed to meet the needs of individuals who are established in careers and are seeking professional growth and advancement within their vocations. The 33-hour program builds upon past work experience, and allows participants to expand their knowledge base, abilities, and skills which can lead to enhanced administrative roles within organizations.
