Williams Family Elementary Education Scholarships

In 2017, Bill and Janet Williams established an elementary education scholarship for students that attended or are attending OTC-Lebanon, and transferred or plan to transfer to MSU-Lebanon.

Qualifications 

To qualify, all students interested in applying for the Bill and Janet William Elementary Education Scholarship must:

• Be attending, or have attended, OTC-Lebanon
• Plan to transfer, or have already transferred, to MSU-Lebanon
• Enroll in the MSU elementary education bachelor's degree program

Application Instructions

Applications are due by April 1, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. and should including the following, in this order: 

1. Application Form*
2. Resume, which includes:
   1. Educational goals 
   2. Honors and awards 
   3. Employment history
   4. Volunteer activities and community involvement 
   5. Three (3) references with contact information
3. A one-page essay to include your educational/career plans, why you chose MSU-Lebanon campus for your degree completion, your financial need and how you would use this scholarship. You may include any experiences that helped you determine your chosen field; your involvement in school, community and/or workplace and provide any further information about yourself that you would like the scholarship committee to know.
4. One (1) letter of recommendation from a professional reference, such as a teacher, instructor, or employers. Letter cannot be written by a family member or friend.
5. Transcript, including GPA and ACT scores.
