Steps to Complete Degree

  1. Apply to Professional Education Certification (Fall - Year 1)
  2. Apply for Practicum 1 (Spring - Year 1)
  3. Apply for Practicum 2 (Summer - Year 1)
  4. Apply for internship 1 (Fall - Year 2)
  5. Apply for internship 2 (Summer - Year 2)
  6. Pass CPCE (Summer - Year 2)
  7. Pass the NCE (Fall - Year 3)
  8. Pass MoCA#056 (Fall - Year 3)

If you do not have a teaching certificate, you will need to take the following prior to internship 1:

  1. SPE 310 or SPE 715
  2. SFR 486
  3. ELE 410 or ELE 600 or SEC 302
