Missouri State Outreach wishes to congratulate Renee White, MSW, LCSW, Joplin MSW Associate Coordinator, for the recognition she has received for her commitment to the recovery efforts in Joplin.
Renee has assisted in the communication between relief organizations in Joplin and has chaired meetings, at the MSU Joplin off-campus site, with their representatives. She has also worked extensively with the Joplin R-8 schools and was recently asked to give talks to school administrators about managing stress in these challenging times.
In recognition of her efforts, Renee will be attending a private luncheon roundtable September 22 with Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano and Secretary of Education Arnie Duncan. Renee is one of only 40 community representatives invited to this meeting.
