Admission to Missouri State University

If you are non-degree seeking and you are a U.S. citizen or permanent resident of the U.S., you may be admitted through Missouri State Outreach.

If you are non-degree seeking undergraduate, you may apply online or you may use the course enrollment form.

If you are non-degree seeking post-baccalaureate, you may apply online or you may use the course enrollment form.

Before you register for a credit class(es), you must be admitted to Missouri State University for the term (or semester) in which you wish to take the class.

Continuing students who have been at Missouri State University within the past three terms, counting summer, are automatically admitted for the term, assuming you are in good academic standing.

Admission action is needed for the following:

  • new students (have never attended MSU)
  • readmit students (attended MSU at some time in the past, but not in the past three terms)
  • students switching from nondegree-seeking to degree-seeking or vice versa.
