Evening College + provides an opportunity for the working adult to complete a degree with great flexibility.

The following suggested course sequence assumes you will attend as a full-time student and will make use of the optional delivery methods (i.e. online, blended and iCourses) available. You may use this course sequence as a tool for planning as a part-time evening student. This sequence includes suggested courses to complete all general education requirements (47 credit hours) and psychology program requirements (34 credit hours). The MSU non-comprehensive psychology major requires completion of a minor which can be up to 24 credit hours. Minors available as evening or online combination opportunities include:

  • Accounting available evenings (16-18 credit hours)
  • Communication available evenings/online combined (15 credit hours)
  • Criminology available evenings/online combined (18 credit hours)
  • General Business available evenings/online combined (18-20 credit hours)
  • Screenwriting available evenings/online combined (18 credit hours)
  • Technical Writing available evenings/online combined (18 credit hours)

To graduate with a bachelor’s degree you must fulfill all general baccalaureate degree requirements including any additional hours to total a minimum of 125 credit hours. An academic advisor from the department of your major and minor will be your best resource for creating a degree plan.

The following degree plan is based on the general education program instituted in fall 2014. For the previous general education requirements, please access these Student Transition Resources.
